In the dark my vision they blur, and something doesn't feel the same
Disconcerted I reach for the chaise
The voice was heard, but no one to take its place
“You seek to see through the smoke?”
Perhaps, this is more than what I had hoped
A man draped in robes all colors worn away
The sound of the fireplace and my mind loses what to say
You sleep with visions burning, that won't retire?
Others, they see it too, your childhood dreams they expire
With a nod I see his eyes are obscured
I seek to see through the smoke

A charcoaled rag underneath black burn it hides
"My mind was once young, some say it soared
But into the light I looked and now here I reside
I've seen the secrets that make our Mandalous design

My voice crack as if though in my throat, something is caught

These mandala moments gone away
Aphasia they call her; In-explainable to words
She's in the painting; the centerpiece, lost in the crease
Watered by abalone tears for countless years
my mind now clear the storm disappears
These calculated lines I no longer fear
I once was lost but now I’ve found my seer.
Grand Design, You and I, Identify
Fragile as she sings, Life flutters by, on glass wings.
I'm suddenly stopped by your ever spiraling gaze
Her fierce green fire encircles this untouched place
My mind travels to made up lands as we lay upon the sand
As I stare I wonder has my life been so bland?
